The task of the Health & Wellness ecosystem is to raise the competitiveness of these branches so that they can become market leaders in the Alpine area. This will have profound effects on the desirability of South Tyrol as a place to live and on its attractiveness as a tourist area.
The ecosystem will link businesses and enable them to exploit trends profitably and sustainably so that they can develop and market new products and services.
Particular value will be placed on the use of local, natural resources and wellness procedures (spa treatments) of Alpine origin. The health and wellness areas of competence include firms from the fields of wellness, fitness, health and beauty, service providers, producers of natural products, equipment and medical technologies.
