Objectives & Strategy

IDM plans and runs marketing campaigns for the producers of products awarded the South Tyrolean seal of quality. Our objectives are to raise awareness of the products, strengthen their image, increase sales and promote them internationally.
In doing so, IDM increases the competitiveness of South Tyrol’s entrepreneurs.

IDM also creates and implements annual programmes for agricultural sectors. We work with our clients on far-reaching projects which shine the spotlight on South Tyrol and its products, also incorporating its tourist destinations.

We support the local consortia to win EU funding and conduct EU projects.

By working for the various agricultural sectors, we contribute to the transfer of knowledge between these fields.

We help key players in the tourism and agricultural industries to uphold the values of the “Südtirol” umbrella brand.

We create opportunities for visitors to come into contact with the products awarded the South Tyrolean seal of quality at the region’s tourist attractions.

We use the umbrella brand to strengthen the individual product and tourist brands.

We help South Tyrol’s quality products to reach the shelves of even more premium food retailers. We achieve this by setting up joint sales promotions at the point of sale (POS) which focus on portraying South Tyrol as a region of culinary delights.

We improve and standardise how the products are presented online, again with an emphasis on South Tyrol as a haven for food lovers.
