Sales Skills

IDM works together with the Hoteliers- und Gastwirteverband (Association of Hoteliers and Restaurateurs – HGV), the Verband der Privatvermieter Südtirols (South Tyrol Association of Private Landlords – VPS), the Roter Hahn organisation (Red Rooster Farm Holidays) and the Landesverband der Tourismusorganisationen Südtirols (South Tyrol Association of Tourism Organisations – LTS) to develop a range of training initiatives under the slogan “Ready for sales success”. The aim of these courses is to support accommodation providers in the areas of sales and digitalisation. Various training events take place several times a year, including the following:

Ready for Online Sales Success

The secret to successful online sales in the tourism industry is a strong, comprehensive digital presence for attracting potential visitors. In the “Ready for Online Sales Success” training courses, tourism professionals from HGV and IDM show participants how to use online sales channels to reach more customers.

Ready for the Travel Industry

IDM organises the “Ready for the Travel Industry” training course in partnership with HGV’s business consultants. The aim of this event is to give accommodation providers an introduction to working with tour operators and, more specifically, to prepare them for tour operator workshops. The event is held in a speed dating format and offers participants the chance to find out about legal matters, cost calculations, marketing and products. While two HGV consultants shed light on legal issues and costs, carefully selected tour operators explain all about marketing and products.
