IDM promotes South Tyrol on eleven European markets as one of the most coveted destinations in Europe as well as an outstanding Alpine location. Its marketing campaigns reflect South Tyrol’s brand personality. The communications not only focus on what South Tyrol has to offer, but above all on the values with which it is associated. In terms of the former, IDM is launching major product development initiatives, such as South Tyrol Balance. Numerous sales promotion campaigns are also underway to awaken interest in South Tyrol among suitable tour operators and to create links between supply and demand.
IDM also assists with the marketing of South Tyrol’s agricultural products labelled with the EU quality logos Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) as well as with the South Tyrolean seal of quality Qualität Südtirol. IDM conducts these activities on behalf of the various sectors (apples, wine, speck, milk, products with the seal of quality). The communications are aimed at connoisseurs from Italy and abroad, with emphasis being placed on the topics of quality and origin.
